Charming Twain Harte "original" with lots of rustic charm and located in a secluded, quiet area of Twain Harte, yet walkable to downtown. Large enclosed back deck with wooded view; fenced yard and Pet-Friendly! (Note: Stairs to upper bedrooms are steep and not recommended for toddlers). Window-mount Air Conditioning units both on the main level & upstairs plus High Speed Internet are a real pluses! (Cleaning Fee: $100)
Additional $100.00 deposit required for Pets in addition to Pet Fee.

Cabin Layout: Two story. 1 Fulll BA; 1 BR w/Double; 1 BR w/Queen. Upstairs: Open Landing area; 1 BA w/Shower; 2 BR each with Twins.

  We have rented our next door's cabin before when we have so much family that we cannot accommodate them in our cabin. We love the layout, especially the upstairs bathroom with toilet/sink separate from shower separate from sinks/mirrors. Definitely designed by someone who had three teenagers and knew how to make it work well! Thanks to Twain Harte Vacation Rentals for being so flexible when we had date difficulties due to family members moving across the continent. We all got to be there and had a great time.

  The weather was quite good with just one day of rain. The property was one of the best we have stayed at. The coffee maker did not work well at all, and the blinds over the sliding glass door (which would not lock) kept falling onto the floor one at a time.
  I will definitely stay at this property again (may bring my own coffee maker).

  The house was in great shape, better than expected for the price. I loved the fenced backyard for the dogs. The pictures did not do it justice. Hope to return again next year.

  Was fit for 2 families with kids. Nicely designed, furnished. The kitchen well equipped - need to bring wine opener though.. The interior is charming, interesting books.
  Could be much perfect with bigger beds on the rooms on the first floor. And the need to bring linens and towels is a bit of a down grade.
  Other than that all worked fine and we had a great 3 days stay!

  Our original cabin had some structural damage so we were given this cabin instead. Although it would not have been our first choice, the cabin was still enjoyable. Are only regret was that the cabin was not on street level and with a child and a pregnant wife it is hard to have stairs. Otherwise we had a great time

  Very narrow back-out turnaround-must watch not to hit the t-pole across the street. The shower brings on very hot water-so must be careful. The upstairs bedrooms are very hot during the day..but cool at night. Overall, I would rent again.

  Mark Twain 33 was centrally located to several great attractions. We took day trips to Yosemite, Pinecrest Lake (Dodge Ridge) and Kennedy Meadows. The dogs really loved the back yard and walks around scenic Twain Harte. Overall a great vacation and a great property, especially for those with pets!

  My family enjoyed staying at this property, it was clean, all the appliances were working. It was within walking to the small town and everyone was friendly in the local stores and the Chinese restaurant we ate at one night. My family and I will definitely go back!

  The upstairs of this cabin was a nice surprise - very user friendly with separate sinks/shower/toilet. The whole house fan also helped cool the house down. The enclosed yard was perfect for our dog.
