Greetings to our Past & Future Guests:

Fall color still abounds in Twain Harte and it's gorgeous!

Fall was a little slow in coming this year and even as we write this newsletter, we still have warm daytime temps.  Just perfect!  Once again, we are hoping for a great ski season, as last year was excellent!  Weather forecast is calling for snow at the higher elevations soon, so keep your eyes peeled at www.dodgeridge.com for updates and conditions.  And as always this time of year, we must remind everyone that the weather can be very unpredictable in the mountains.  Always carry chains and this goes for 4WD & AWD vehicles as well.  Fines are be very steep and more importantly, we want you to arrive here safely.

December will find many activities happening in our area. Be sure to check them out below in our "Winter Happenings In and Around Town" section.  The Winter Wonderland Parade in Twain Harte will kick off the first Friday in December (Dec. 5th) at 6 pm.  Bring the kids and come visit Santa while he is here visiting the children of Twain Harte.  Santa will be taking last minute orders for his Christmas day ride, so be sure to mark your calendars.  We still have lots of cabins available, and if you're looking to book that special Christmas cabin, give us a call and we can help!

Looking for a unique special Christmas gift this year?  You'll be sure to find something in one of our many shops here in Twain Harte.  "All That Matters" specializes in unique gifts made by local artists and they also do custom framing.  Stop in and say Hello to Barbara or Andy!

There is lots of winter fun to be had in and around our area.  Why not check out the Long Barn Ice Skating Rink!  It is now open Friday - Sunday and they even offer group or private lessons.  After Hours Skate Parties can be arranged on a Friday or Saturday night at discount prices.  It's great winter fun for everyone!  Go to www.longbarn.com for more info.
