A quiet, secluded area and a cabin with every amenity will make this your favorite Winter getaway. Approx. 1650 sq. ft. Beautiful pine plank floors throughout; stone fireplace; open-beam ceilings; to-die-for gourmet kitchen; neat-as-pin with lots of antique appointments and attention to detail. Built-in seating in kitchen. Mudroom is a plus in snowy conditions. If you have a larger group, our cabin, Sierra Park #1 is right across the street! Parking is limited. (Cleaning Fee: $125) Please note that we do not accept credit cards at this time. Payment information will be included in your Confirmation.

  Everything about this property was a delight. Beyond being clean and well maintained it had homey yet stylish furnishings. My grandchildren had great fun sledding in the snow. If you plan to rent during the winter months be forewarned that chains are necessary once you get off the main highway. Also note there is no cell service, only a landline phone-don't plan to log in a few hours of work while on vacation! Just enjoy the good old fashioned freedom of being unavailable.

  This newer cabin has many antiques and touches reflecting old-world European style--like a cabin in the Alps. This is by far the best cabin we stayed in and it is comfortable for two families with kids. Speaking of kids, there are tons of books, games, and toys for the little ones.

  Great cabin. It snowed so much the power went out for 3 days but the cabin was equipped with emergency supplies. Gas stoves, wood fire place, lanterns and LED lights. Sledding hill just a block from the house and the pond close by too. Our stay was unusual but the whole family loved the cabin and would be willing to go again. With bad weather it took almost 30 minutes to drive to Dodge Ridge Ski Resort. A great winter family trip.

  Stayed 4 nights during Dec. House is in private gated community in a secluded area. House is a bit difficult to find in the snow. Parking is a problem if more than 2 cars but you can park down at the lake and have someone bring you up to the house. The house is very beautiful. It is a newer home with interesting details. Nice wood interior and cozy family room. Beautiful flooring. Kitchen was nice and understated. Lots of games and movies. No cable. Upstairs bath has a clawfoot tub. Didn't have a chance to peruse the outside of the property since it was snowing. This is a good spot if you like to experience snow at higher elevation but still close enough to town to go out to eat etc.

  The reason I keep coming back to this same property (five years now) is THVR rental management, from booking to cleaning people to having the keys to the place there reliably no matter how late you arrive and making the property very ready so all you have to do is go out and snow board all day.

  No matter what we did (along with reading the instructions left for us) we could not keep the fireplace from smoking out into the cabin. otherwise we loved it. Kudos to the interior designer; it was well done but not stuffy. Great service and instruction from rental people but the map to get to the cabin once off the main road left a little to be desired.

  It definitely needs to be advertised that this property does NOT have any cable connection to the tv. Sierra Park has had cable access for more than 20 years, so it is quite unusual that a property would NOT have this very standard amenity.

  Beautiful interior and a great deck to relax on. The stair climb down to the cabin from the parking area is a real pain, but the cabin itself is beautiful and well maintained. I absolutely love the craftsman styling of the cabin.

  It was a great vacation home. The owner does need to get a working TV. I don't sit and watch TV on vacation but do like to watch the news from time to time especially when it is snowing heavily.
