  We really enjoyed staying in Twain Harte at the Til Himla # 5 cabin. Twain Harte offer such a wonferful getaway from the Bay Area and it is really a lot closer then Lake Tahoe. The Twain Harte Vacation Rental staff has been so helpful and professional on each of the multiple times we used this organization. If you are looking for a really nice getaway in a beautiful small town with beauty and charm that is close to skiing, lakes, and a really fun downtown area then I completely recommend Twain Harte and the many cabins available there. - Enjoy you next vacation

  My teen-age grandsons and I had a wonderful time at this charming cabin. It was beautifully decorated with comfortable furnishings, and easy access to the front door. Even my blind dog could find her way around easily. The boys enjoyed the lake and could
  walk there from the cabin. Also, close to downtown and its many amenities. It was a delightful few days and I'd return in a heartbeat.

  The rental may look small from the outside but the living room is unbelievable with it's A frame windows looking out on to trees. It is very well located, walkable to the lake for swimming. Deers are present walking through the woods. Even though you have
  neighbors it still feels quiet. Great kitchen just bring some extra cooking utensils because plastic doesn't work for everything. Had a great time.

  We had some problems with the front door lock and master bath toliet. Also a coffee maker in the kitchen would be a nice addition.

  My family stayed a month here and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. The cottage was comfortable and peaceful. It is a basic seasoned cottage, with nice decor. The owners were nice, as was Brenda at THVR. We were allergic to the dust though, probably because of the carpeting and pets are allowed. We would come back again if the price is right.
