  This was our first cabin trip to the mountains. The cabin was in a great location and a few miles away from the highway. The cabin was very spacious. The deck wraps half ways around the cabin which was nice for a relaxing time. Only flaw was the water heater was to small so only two people or so could take a shower before it ran out. If it wasn't for that it would have been perfect.... .

  Our family has been renting from Twain Harte Vacation Rentals (THVR) for several years now. We have always been pleased with their level of professionalism, promptness and friendliness. Our rental of this most recent cabin exemplifies the quality of service and accommodations they always provide. Clean, comfortable, fun and relaxing! When in Twain Harte we enjoy the wide selection of cheeses and wines from the Twain Harte Market, attend a performance at the Sierra Repertory Theatre, watch the Sonora Christmas Parade, and visit the Sonora Christmas Festival. Although this review does not address this cabin specifically, it is intended to voice our complete satisfaction with THVR. We intend to keep renting from this business for many years to come. Thank you, Margie, for helping us continue to build fond, family memories!

  We hit the heat wave and the swamp cooler was not up to the task but otherwise all fine. The deck is deteriorating and needs work.

  The only complaint was the gas barbeque was empty so we did not barbeque. We didn't want to fill for a two day stay.

  This is a great place, good location. Place can use a little maintance. Table and chairs on patio were very dirty, and picnic table needs to be replace. Other wise this is a nice place to stay, very good size and location.

  we were not too happy to have take our garbage home with us ,because when we arrived on thursday, the containers were full!!, also the cooktop needs to replaced, (there is dryrot outside the garage)other than that we enjoyed our THIRD time stay on this
  property.

  The cabin was really nice and we enjoyed the stay. For a cabin that sleeps 16 guests, the trash can was very small. We had a lot of trouble making sure the trash fit in the can and had to take some back with us.
  
  It would have been nice if there was one more small trash can so that we don't have to constantly worry about the amount of trash we are taking out.

  We had a great time at this cabin. There was ample parking and pretty flat for the area. We didn't have internet service and not all T.V.'s were functioning, but we were there to ski/snowboard so we didn't mind. We did have communication problems in the original booking but the office staff was helpful in overcomming them.

  We enjoy this cabin very much. It is perfect for my elderly parents as well as enough space for a constantly changing number of children. We had one problem... the first night we could not get the cabin to heat up. We discovered that someone had left an open window in the dining room (behind a closed drape). Glad the heating bill will not be on us!

  Stove and pots and pans were not clean; otherwise fine. Comfortable house -- we've stayed before and have gone back on many occasions. Twain Harte Vacation Rentals have always been very accomodating and helpful.

  Only "bad" things were ants in kitchen (minor problem) and very dirty sink in garage. Also, master bedroom was loud with tv right below in the family room.

  Very roomy and tons of space for people to sleep. The kitchen was great. It was a bit of a drive from downtown Twain Harte, and can be hard to find in the dark.

  My family spent a weekend at this cabin last year to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. There was plenty of room for all of us and the kitchen was great for preparing breakfast and snacks. We ate out for other meals. We chose this cabin for it's location. We wanted to take the new 21 year old to the Black Oak Casino. Thanks for a fun weekend!
